Fruits of Our Labor - QQQ1

In this small clip, I just saw two years of my life slipping by while working at Arquitectonica on QQQ1, a highschool part of the Miami Dade public school system, I believe one of the nicest public school that I have seen designed. Compressed in just a few minutes of video is the work of all of the QQQ1 team over the period of three years. Soon the school will be open, and the QQQ1 title will be changed with another name, and "our sweat and tears" will be in every single bean, column and wall of the school.

QQQ1 just made it to the news yesterday....

Ground breaking ceremony (February 22, 2008)

The QQQ1 Team (fron left to right) - Aaron Heinrich, Sherri Gutierrez (Project Director) with Max in the belly, Gustavo Spokoiny, ME!, and lastly, Earl Brown (Project Manager)

Members of the school board, design team and construction company in action....Left Corner: Bernardo Fort-Brescia, owner of Arquitectonica. In other words, he is the guy that makes it all happen.

The architects at the site..... and they thought they could build this all on their own...
