FOR ALL MY ARCHITECTURE COLLEAGUES

A couple of days ago in the middle of a couple of dealines at work, I received an e-mail from one of my co-workers -thank you Anthony- with a link to an architectural firm's website. I took a peak and I thought -wow, this is cool, I'll take a look when I get home. The "going home" time turned to be 1:15 in the morning when I finally finished my dealines. Oh....!!!! the typical life of the architect!

So now that I am finally at home sort of early, dead tired I might say, I share with you this link http://www.graftlab.com/. Check it out; it is good -nice website and nice projects too. The firm is called Graft. Below find an image of one of their projects designed as the Wroclaw Museum of Contemporary Art in Poland.

BTW. I haven't look thru all the projects; I wonder if there is any green project, potential to seek LEED certification, I mean... another reminder for all of us who are trying to take and pass the LEED AP Certification Exam before the June 30th deadline. For those of you taking the test on the 23 and 27 of this month, I wish you tons of luck!

Garrincha,
Yes it is nice! Come ya dije, buen diseño de la página web y proyectos interesantes. I liked it!

Heriberto,
Gracias por la visita y me alegro que el enlace le resultara interesante. Siempre se me olvida que usted es arquitecto.

Thanks for the shout-out Daphne. I really like their work. the drawings and renderings are on point. As I was looking at their projects I saw they collaborated with Brad Pitt on the Water Cay project. Did you know Mr. Pitt was gonna be an architect if his acting career wasn't successful? Lucky for him, he's doing what he's doing now, instead of in this office with us.
Also, speaking of Green projects, look at their Ao project in Japan. it's like a "living hill"... really nice. Man, I miss studio!
I've oficially contributed to your BLOG! Woo Hoo!
-Ant

I agree with the studio part, but there is no excuse to exclude ourselves from updates in the current architectural trends. We just need to dig the internet, magazines, books, etc., for the latest state-of-the-art designs.
