London Aquatics Centre by Zaha Hadid

The London Aquatics Centre, located in the Olympic Park at Stratford in east London, will be one of the main venues of London 2012 Summer Olimpics and the London 2012 Summer Paralympics.  It is an indoor facility with two 50 meter swimming pools and a 25 meter diving pool, designed by the Pritzker prize winning architect Zaha Hadid. With its distinctive architecture and curved roof, it will be the first venue visitors see upon entering the Olympic Park.  The building was inspired by the fluid geometry of water in motion in sympathy with the river lansdcape of the Olympic Park.
